A member-owned hiking club that marks trails, runs cabins and gets people of all ages out into the mountains.
In 1904 a small group from Lom cleared the old cattle road over the mountain to Gjuvbu and called it Storveien, the big road. Today Storveis has 12 000 members, 38 cabins and 2 400 km of marked trails, still run mostly by volunteers.
We are a non-profit. Every krone from memberships, cabin nights and the shop goes back into trails, cabins and trips.
